Don’t take this writing quill,
Oh, lamb!
There are no separating
Differences between us!
This is the holy altar of love!
Squeeze your eyes and
Look at love with love
Again!
++++++++++++
“Who did you ask at the door?”
“Your loving
Servant,” I said!
“Why have you come?”
You asked.
“I came to worship your feet.”
“How long will you wait for me?”
You asked!
“Until I take another birth” I replied!
++++++++++++
We talked and rejoiced at the door.
I felt proud that love was sublime!
But I would lose
This joyful gift of the world I enjoyed!
“Evidence is needed for all this”
You urged!
“Is it weighing my tears as I yearn?”
+++++++++++
“On what basis did you come?”
You called out!
“The imagination you gave justified it.”
“What is your goal?”
You asked me.
“A friendship between two people”
I replied!
“What do you expect from me?”
You asked.
“Love, the affection,” I recited.
